Lee Nez - Nightwalker

With David as the primary author, we'll also be bringing you a brand new adventure series set in New Mexico. Our New Mexico State Policeman hero, Lee Nez, is a half-vampire, what Navajos call a `night walker'.

You'll be meeting Lee and his reluctant partner, FBI agent Diane Lopez, in Second Sunrise. Forced to dwell in twilight, Lee is the target of his mortal enemies, the skinwalkers, who are Navajo witches with the ability to shape-shift into wolves or mountain lions. These evil creatures sense his special powers, and hope to bring about his death and acquire Lee's strength and longevity.

With Second Sunrise, we go beyond Navajo traditions and legend and create a special hero, a 'walker of the night' who hunts skinwalkers that prey upon his people. In this series we're free to let our imagination and creativity flow, blending history, legend, and native tradition to create a mystery/suspense premise that will stir the readers imaginations long after they turn off the lights at night. Second Sunrise will also be out in October.
